CSAA 2025 Impact Report

WALNUT CREEK, Calif., September 1, 2026 – CSAA Insurance Group released its 2025 Impact Report. This is the sixth year CSAA has issued a report, which documents the company’s focus on positive economic, social and environmental outcomes.

“The 2025 Impact Report reflects the progress we are making across our business and the accountability we bring to that work,” said President and CEO Mike Zukerman. “It shows how we are strengthening our company, supporting our people and communities, and preparing to serve our members over the long term.”

Key focus areas from CSAA’s 2025 report include:

Planet: We build resilience into every aspect of our organization to address the impacts of climate change.

  • Supported wildfire resilience and recovery efforts through donations and sponsorships, including a $10,000 contribution to the Rebuild Paradise Foundation’s Gravel Grant Program and sponsorship of SBP’s Climate Corps Program to advance wildfire prevention, recovery and resilience initiatives
  • Recycled and refurbished e-waste, avoiding 70 tons of CO2 emissions—the equivalent of removing 15 passenger vehicles from the road for a year, or growing 1,170 tree seedlings for 10 years

People:  We ensure culture group processes and models prioritize high impact, inclusivity, user experience and sustainability.

  • Facilitated more than 130 company-sponsored volunteer opportunities curated in partnership with grantees and nonprofit partners: 2,255 employees logged 20,070 hours of volunteering
  • Provided nearly $700,000 to nonprofits and invested $143 million with small business suppliers, which supported more than 4,000 jobs through inclusive procurement participation

Practice: Our commitment to strong governance, responsible data stewardship, ethical business conduct and enterprise-wide risk management ensures that our members, employees, partners and regulators can consistently rely on us to operate with integrity, transparency and resilience.

  • Established and operationalized a new AI risk domain through advanced controls, strengthened governance and oversight, conducted cross-functional risk exercises and expanded regulatory compliance support

Modernized key components of the security architecture by advancing cloud and application security, unifying identity platforms, strengthening data protection, embedding security practices across IT and business teams, and using through validated third-party assessments to achieve the highest level of cybersecurity

“Climate-related risks, new technologies and changing service expectations continue to shape our industry,” said Zukerman. “We are responding by strengthening resilience, using technology responsibly and maintaining the governance and cybersecurity safeguards that protect our business and the trust our members place in us.”
